Delivering Letters in Support of Jobs NOT War to Rep. Fitzpatrick

Penn Action teamed up with MoveOn and BuxMont Coalition for Peace Action to speak out in support of Jobs NOT War. We also delivered more pro-jobs letters on our way to our goal of 1,000. Lynda Mintz spoke in support of Medicaid, which Congressman Fitzpatrick voted to cut by 33%. A 33% cut to Medicaid would not only cost millions of Americans crucial services, it would also cost Pennsylvania over 80,000 jobs. People work in nursing homes and doctors’ offices, but when your priority is cutting the deficit instead of reviving the economy and supporting the American working family, that’s hard to remember.
